Seminar format:
- Day one of the seminar focuses on performance foundations: building drive, retrieve and tug, plus food, hunt & pack (relationship) drives. Participants will gain an understanding of their dogs' drives and behavior, and how to use this information to more effectively play, motivate and train.
- Day two focuses on the end goals which include putting the pieces together, focus, stays, problem solving and trial routines. Day 2 is a continuation of the lecture from the first day, the discussion builds and is expanded across the two days. There is work-time for the working-spot dogs during both days.
About Denise:
A twenty-five year veteran of training, competing, and titling in schutzhund, obedience, tracking, agility, conformation, and herding who has earned multiple HITs in obedience and schutzhund. Denise's positive training methods are widely recognized for producing dogs with exceptional attention, accuracy and enthusiasm for their work. She uses her extensive knowledge of canine drives to motivate the dog and turn training into a positive experience for an enthusiastic and accurate performance. She has experience working with all kinds of dogs.
Denise does more than teach you to train your dog in specific exercises. She teaches you to understand the work from your dog's point of view, so you become a problem solver for your dog.
Denise has an affinity for working with puppies, dogs that have had harsh training in the past, and dogs needing retraining on poorly-taught exercises.

Dogs:
There will be a limit of 12 working dogs, the working spots are for both
days. FULL but taking a waiting list.
Quiet, well-behaved dogs are always welcome to attend with auditors.
Auditing spots are limited to 40.

Fees:
- $65 to audit per day.
- $200 per working team.
- Snacks and drinks will be provided, and you may order a catered lunch for an extra $7.
